NASISP Policy Issues
NASISP believes all students should have access to the supports and services they need, in the least restrictive environment, to achieve optimal development, academic and personal success, and empowerment through the lifespan. We support equity and inclusiveness for all students. NASISP supports and advocates for SISP professionals to use best practices and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary education team. NASISP also advocates for the students and families who deserve and can benefit from specialized instructional support services. NASISP monitors the following education policy issues as a means of promoting our values and mission.
